The rule files are free, but every tip will greatly improve my motivation to provide updates and other federations, because I spent a great deal of free time researching and editing. So if you really enjoy the rule files, then every small contribution is greatly appreciated. Support Me.

Installation Guide

Copy the .fmf files for the nations you want into the folder "<My Documents>\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2024\editor data\". The folder can be different if you have changed it in the FM24 preferences. The leagues should then appear the next time you start a new game in FM24 and chose advanced setup.
Make sure you have the checkbox "add players to playable teams" checked. This is recommended, otherwise you may end up with a lot of greyed-out players.

Testing

all rules files have been tested by me in the editor and the game as well.
of course, it is always possible that there are issues and mistakes in the rule files. If you find an issue, you can contact me by E-Mail.

    • this competition does not change coefficients
  • Coefficients
    • Slot allocation is based on 5 year coefficients
    • (!) AFC basically uses a list for West and East, but this is not possible in the editor. So I had to use a few tricks to achieve the East/West separation. Coefficients are very complex in the editor and their behaviour is not always clear. It refused to take averages so I had to adjust the coefficient system a little to keep it more or less in the same range. But there is a working coefficient system in place. For the year 2020 all coefficients are 0 (Covid) and the game sets all coefficients in 2022 to 0. This means that in the early years the coefficients are based on 3 years instead of 5 because 2 years are zeroes. From my observations, this can cause some movements in the ranking, but they normalize after a couple of years.
    • (!) The slot allocation page for Asia in the game cannot be changed from the old format to the new format. So you should ignore that page and instead focus on the coefficient ranking page: top 6 nations from West and East will enter ACLE, and so on. Slot allocation is based on real AFC (see above).
