Football Manager rule files for CAF v24.4

In this package, you will find rule files for CAF Member Nations.

I did my best to use realistic formats for all the leagues that are included. The rule files contain:

• real divisions and cups with real formats from 2023
• teams from the 2023 season
• all nations have transfer windows, registration periods, tv dates, match rules, prize money - when I was able to find this in my online research
• I added Football Academies, based on DaveTheEditor's concept and with the support of Daveincid.

Installation Guide

Copy the .fmf files for the nations you want into the folder "<My Documents>\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2024\editor data\". The folder can be different if you have changed it in the FM24 preferences. The leagues should then appear the next time you start a new game in FM24 and chose advanced setup.
Make sure you have the checkbox "add players to playable teams" checked. This is recommended, otherwise you may end up with a lot of greyed-out players.

Testing and Research

All rules files have been tested in the editor and in the game as well.
of course, it is always possible that there are issues and mistakes in the rule files. If you find an issue, you can contact me by E-Mail.

Unfortunately, neither the 7 regional leagues nor the teams are in the FM24 database. On top of that, I did not find any reliable data for these regional leagues. I therefore implemented the Chad league as a one month league for the 12 teams that are in the database.

I could not implement the special promotion stage where even a B team could promote to the premier league directly. So I made the A division to promote the first 3 teams instead. Second Division A transitions from 20 teams in 2023 to 18 teams in 2024 (2 more teams relegated in 2023) The Super Cup uses 4 teams and the tournament takes place in Abu Dhabi (as it has been in real life the past 3 years)
