The rule files are free, but every tip will greatly improve my motivation to provide updates and other federations, because I spent a great deal of free time researching and editing. So if you really enjoy the rule files, then every small contribution is greatly appreciated. Support Me.

Installation Guide

Copy the .fmf files for the nations you want into the folder "<My Documents>\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2024\editor data\". The folder can be different if you have changed it in the FM24 preferences. The leagues should then appear the next time you start a new game in FM24 and chose advanced setup.
Make sure you have the checkbox "add players to playable teams" checked. This is recommended, otherwise you may end up with a lot of greyed-out players.

Testing and Research

I would like to thank Nuno from Portugal for his assistance in research and testing, it helped improve the quality of the rule files. All rules files have been tested in the editor and in the game as well.
of course, it is always possible that there are issues and mistakes in the rule files. If you find an issue, you can contact me by E-Mail.

    • CONCACAF Champions Cup
      • The 2023 edition uses predefined teams from real life.
      • Canada, Mexico and USA do not use coefficients but always have the same starting slots
      • added/refactored the 2024 format and qualification rules.
    • Campeones Cup is unchanged (not in the rule file).
    • The coefficients should be for the last 5 years but can not be viewed in the game (I tried, but I couldn't find a setting to enable that page for North America). Through very long observations I verified that the coefficients are working but the editor does not store them together for 1 year. I had to extend the number of years to get a more or less working system. Because they are invisible it can be very hard to verify, but you can notice correct changes to the qualifications if teams perform really well or very bad. If you don't want coefficients or don't trust it, then please use the CONCACAF_NoCoefficients.fmf instead.

Known Issues in FM24

Issue #1 - Continental Cup Schedule Problems In FM24, the Central American Cup uses a host nation from Caribbean Nations incorrectly. This causes teams to "travel" to the cup for the entire group stage (the whole month of August). Teams participating in this cup will not play any domestic games during that month. This can seriously clog up the domestic schedule.
My advice is to use my CONCACAF continental cups file where I fixed this, and then those teams will play domestic league on saturday and continental cup on wednesday like they should.
Issue #2 - Continental cup teams wrong for Panama In FM24, the Central American Cup picks teams from Panama from the 2nd tier instead of the 1st tier (Liga Panamena).
My advice is to use my CONCACAF continental cups file where I fixed this, and then the correct teams from Panama will enter.
Issue #3 - Continental cup teams from wrong year In FM24, the Central American Cup picks qualified teams in December. While all the domestic leagues already finish in May/June. This causes teams to participate in the Central American Cup 1 year later.
I advise to use my CONCACAF continental cup file for a better experience, the competition is set up in July and picks teams on that date when (most) competitions have finished.

Coefficients

Unfortunately, the coefficients cannot be viewed in the game. I was unable to activate that page, which is there for e.g. Europe. So, Because it is invisible it is totally intransparent what the rankings for the countries are.
The coefficienta are averages based on the number of teams in continental competitions. Basically, nations get points for each team from that country.:
