The rule files are free, but every tip will greatly improve my motivation to provide updates and other federations, because I spent a great deal of free time researching and editing. So if you really enjoy the rule files, then every small contribution is greatly appreciated. Support Me.

Installation Guide

Copy the .fmf files for the nations you want into the folder "<My Documents>\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2024\editor data\". The folder can be different if you have changed it in the FM24 preferences. The leagues should then appear the next time you start a new game in FM24 and chose advanced setup. Make sure you have the checkbox "add players to playable teams" checked. This is recommended, otherwise you may end up with a lot of greyed-out players.

Testing

all rules files have been tested by me in the editor and the game as well.
of course, it is always possible that there are issues and mistakes in the rule files. If you find an issue, you can contact me by E-Mail.

File Federation added/changed competitions comments
ARG.fmf Argentina [1] Argentina Primera Division
[2] Argentina Segunda Division
[3] Argentina 3rd Division
  [3.1] Torneo Federal A
  [3.2] Metropolitan Zone B
[Cup] Copa Argentina
[Cup] Supercopa
[Cup] Supercopa Internacional
[Cup] Trofeo de Campeones
  • 3rd tier was added. Torneo Federal A and Metropolitan B vary teams due to regional relegations from Segunda Division. The number of teams are always corrected by promoting more or less teams from the lower divisions
  • Starting in 2025, Argentine Primera Division uses an Apertura and Clausura system. It uses 2 Groups and each team plays the other teams from the group and an interzonal match which is mostly a derby (classico). I have added almost 20 known Classicos and the rest I paired as best as I could (regionally).
  • Segunda Division refactored, will transition from 37 teams in 2023 to 38 teams in 2024
  • Copa Argentina teams were refactored to enable 3rd tier teams to qualify for this tournament instead of being randomly picked (10 from Torneo Federal A and 5 from Metropolitan B)
  • Trofeo de Campeones refactored to real format, and will run every year (in game was only in 2023). From 2025 onwards, it is played between the Winners of the Apertura and Clausura stages
BOL.fmf Bolivia [1] Bolivia Primera Division
[Cup] Copa de la Liga Professional
  • final ranking in 2023 (continental cup qualification and relegation spots) is done by average points gained in the league table and the group stage of the Copa (as in real life)
  • Primera Division transitions from 17 team round robin league in 2023 to 16 team apertura and clausura league from 2024 onwards
  • Primera Division returns back to the 2023 format in 2025
  • Copa de la Liga Professional (Copa Bolivia) ends in 2023 and restarts in 2025
  • The 2025 Copa Bolivia is divided in 4 groups and teams play other teams vertical and horizontal across groups and 2 derby matches. Only 5 derbies are known (to me) in Bolivia, so the rest is paired as best as I could
BRA.fmf Brazil [1] Serie A
[2] Serie B
[3] Serie C
[4] Serie D
[Cup] Copa Brasil
[Cup] Copa Verde
[Cup] Copa do Nordest
[Cup] Super Cup
[Sec] State Championships
[Sec.X] 27 State Championships
  • Added Serie D. 4 relegated teams from Serie C + 60 teams that qualify through State Championships. Teams which do not re-qualify through state championships are moved to the lower divisions in the next season (this will probably get you fired ;-)).
  • Refactored all State Championships and updated a lot of formats. They are also no longer faked if you don't select lower tiers. (this can however cost some performance in the game)
  • Refactored Copa Brasil, Copa Verde and Copa do Nordest to use correct teams and minor updates to their formats
CHL.fmf Chile [1] Primera Division
[2] Primera Division B
[3] Segunda Division
[4] Tercera Division A
[Cup] Copa Chile
[Cup] Supercopa
  • Refactored Copa Chile to 2023 format (incl. preliminary round for 4th tier teams)
  • Copa Chile changes in 2025 to group stage with KO round and only 32 teams (from first 2 tiers)
  • All other competitions from FM24 unchanged
COL.fmf Colombia [1] Primera A
[2] Primera B
[3] Primera C
[Cup] Copa Colombia
[Cup] Supercopa Colombia
  • added Primera C with 166 teams in 20 groups and 64 team ko round. There is no promotion to Primera B (like in real life). The system is not exactly like in real life, since that is too complex, but it's very similar.
  • All other competitions from FM24 unchanged
ECU.fmf Ecuador [1] Ecuador Serie A
[2] Ecuador Serie B
[Cup] Copa Ecuador
[Cup] Super Copa
  • Format of Serie A changes in 2025 to league with playoffs
  • Format of Serie B changes in 2025 to league with playoffs
PAR.fmf Paraguay [1] Primera Division
[2] Division Intermedia
[Cup] Copa Paraguay
[Cup] Super Copa
  • All Paraguayan divisions use average points of the last 3 seasons to determine relegation. (Points from the last 2 seasons were added to the database)
  • Primera Division uses Apertura & Clausura
PER.fmf Peru [1] Peru Liga 1 (*)
[2] Peru Liga 2
